I loved this exhibit! I work with at risk youth, many who are addicted to drugs. This experience has educated me more than ever on the history of drugs and the instruments used, and really helped me to understand some of what an addict is battling. Thank

This is great. I love hands on things. The reason people take drugs is to self medicate their depression and anxiety. There is just no type of medication to treat and cure depression and anxiety and street drugs is definently not the way.
Kids should be able to avoid drugs if they see the outcome of these actions.
DRUGS ARE ONE OF THE WORST THINGS THAT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU. YOU COULD BE KILLED BY THEM.

This is a good experience for all ages, but should have more hands on activities.
It was nice to see an exhibit of this nature on my visit to the California Science Center. This is the one thing I believe our youth need to be completely educated on in order to keep our country clean.

Drugs are horrible. Drugs are one of the worst things on earth unless they're medicines. I hate drugs. My uncle and grandpa used to smoke. After my grandpa died, my uncle saw that smoking was bad.
Stop taking drugs or else. I am not kidding, it is bad for you!
I found this exhibit very informative and interesting. I espescially liked the basketball hoop experiment.

Substance abuse prevention and treatment has to become a priority to prevent further issues in society. The approach has to be comprehensive. We need to start at a young age and also focus on the family and schools.

Drugs don't do you any good. It kills you, and makes your life miserable. That's why I'm not going to use drugs!
None of this surprises me because I was a drug addict until I found Jesus. It's good to see that you're trying to teach people the consequences of using drugs.
This was the best experience. I think if I ever wanted to learn about drugs, this is the best place.
I have been introduced to drugs before in my life and they are very easily accesible, but you have to have the restraint and will to say, "No." Resist any temptations you might have to fit in or be more "popular."
My son Austin Ellingson (22yr) died from overdose of Oxicontin and Xanex... a smart, popular, funny, outgoing kid who lived to make people smile and laugh.
This exhibit was great. I won't do drugs.

This exhibit was very interesting. Even drugs that I thought were minor showed to have some sort of negative affect. As a Criminal Justice major, I realize the fight against drugs is greater than the media portrays and more than any CJ book highlights.

This exhibit was very informative and I enjoyed it greatly. The one I enjoyed the most was the basketball hoop where it shows how you would shoot if you were impaired (with drugs and alcohol). It was great!!!

A word of advice to drug addicts-it takes a person to start drugs, it takes a person to mess up their life, it takes a person to take their own life, that person--IS YOU!! don't do drugs and you won't be another statistic.

THIS IS A GREAT THING TO BE SHOWING THE YOUNG KIDS SO THAT THEY WON'T DO BAD.
I learned alot about drugs and how they are bad and well... bad.
It hit close to home, we can relate to this very much. It was a moving experience for the both of us. To see how a 14 year old girl died from an ecstasy overdose is insane! It's sad to see the people you care for very much fall for the addiction of drugs.
Had a great time. Hope you do more things like this. I learned alot about drugs.
I learned many of the things that drugs can do to your body. I never wanted to, but now I know for sure that I will NEVER do drugs.
Had fun, learned the effect drugs have on your brain and on your body. I also learned the population of drug abusers and how it is hard on them to quit.

I think this exhibit is well done, some of the kiosks could use some better quality videos. On a side note what isn't mentioned is the focus on over the counter drug use. The government agencies that create regulation rules need more accountability.

I am a recovering drug addict. I will have two years clean in 2 more weeks. For those of you thinking about trying drugs, DON'T! Stop now while you are still alive. It will destroy you. It will debilitate you.

I liked the Prism Basketball. More hands on exhibits would have been nice.

I feel that this exhibit could greatly help adolescents who get to see it. It's important for them to see the very real affects of the aftermath of using a drug. Drug use seems to be taken lightly until the results of addiction are shoved in your face.

This exhibit on drugs in America was very informative. It really shows how big of a problem this is and action needs to be taken to fix it. In the words of Nancy Reagan, "Just Say No!"

I work in a Family Resource Center,and I see many families who have been affected by drug use in there families and community. It is disturbing to see the number of young people who are experimenting. We all have a duty.

(You need more activities for the kids, all you have is for people who can focus for a while, kids have a shorter attention span than adults. People should not do drugs because they can kill you. I was very shocked when I saw a sixteen year old died of doing drugs! I think parents should 1. talk to their kids and 2. they should be careful about what medication they put in their medicine cabinet.
This taught me a lot even though I knew not to do drugs. I never knew that there were tunnels for drugs, and I never knew that Coke was made in Bolivia, Brazil. I wonder why people do drugs even though they know the consequence....

I work as a recovery counselor in the city of long beach with adolescents who have experimented with drugs and alcohol and are working toward their recovery of addiction. This was great information that will benefit our program thank you very much.

This exhibit makes me so aware of what goes on in our society and how sad it is about what drugs can do to people, and how bad decisions can ruin a person's life.

The exhibit was very useful in my studies in how the DEA works in the take down in drug trafficking. I was a drug user a while ago and I know first hand how drugs affect your life and how you can go so far and lose so much and not even know it.

This is not my favorite exhibit but it does really tell you the reality and dangers of taking drugs. A lot of people my age like to take drugs for fun, and to be cool. It's not right at all.
This is an improvement over "This is your brain on drugs" ad featuring scrambled eggs. That approach probably had an opposite. Social psychology and brain science are much more relevant. There is no way to make these issues simpler.

This was a class assignment, and even more than that. I am a recovering alcoholic studying to be a drug abuse counselor. This is a great exhibit. The more we learn about biological and behavioral causes of addiction, the more success we can enjoy in treatment.
I'm very impressed with "Drugs: Costs & Consequences." It's very good for children, and adults to know how drugs really affect us in our society. I've been clean from cocaine for 14 years and I'm very proud of it. I'm studying to be a Drug Counselor for teens now.

I used to do drugs but thanks to my foster parents I'm off of them forever.

I HAVE HAD A 20 YR ADDICTION PROBLEM. I HAVE BEEN TO PRISON TWICE NOW FOR TRAFFICKING. I AM NOW IN A PROGRAM THAT HAS GIVEN ME BACK MY LIFE. AND THROUGH THAT PROGRAM I WAS ABLE TO BRING OTHERS HERE TO SEE THIS EYE OPENING EXHIBIT. I'M GLAD FOR THIS.
I commend this program for the overall information, assistance, knowledge and participation that it offers to all that take advantage of this program's teachings of our countries problems with drugs.
This is a great place for everyone. My second time here I am glad the schools are bringing the children. Kids need to learn more about drugs. Nobody told me how it can mess your life up if someone would have taken the time to LISTEN and HELP.

I think drugs are nothing to play with or to try. In my life time, most of my family has done drugs and I plan not to. I plan to become a lawyer and independent.
Drug are not a joke to me because you might go to jail or lose a family member or your own self to the use of drugs that is why I don't do drugs. Neither should you!

It was a great exhibit because it informed me about the dangers of taking drugs. I will be more aware of drugs in the future. I learned a lot about the transportation of drugs through secret tunnels. I had a great experience.

I think the exhibit was really eye-opening. The part about the people who have died as a result of drug use really hit me. It's amazing how successful artists throw their lives away due to the effect of drugs. No one should throw their future away.

This was a great experience. I saw things that I already knew about that I got to see in a new light, but I also learned a lot of new things. I have a few friends that take drugs. I wish that I could have brought them with me so they too can see.

My Mom died from meth use in 1999. She was a beautiful lady and a great Mom. It is because of
her that I have become a drug and alcohol counselor. Her name was Sherry Reyes and I am her
son Ricky. We miss you Momma.

It is so important that you let the people see these facts regarding drug abuse. I hope and pray that teenagers today will always remember how it effects in their lives .. Life is so beautiful so let us not use drugs and waste our time, but live drug free.
It's really disheartening to see so many lives lost to drugs. It really is important to educate yourself on the effects of drugs and to listen to your body. Many people die everyday, dying related to drugs shouldn't take the majority.
I have learned alot from this place, and I'm really glad that i came. Why people smoke, I don't know. It's exactly like standing in front of a car and breathing in exaust. Who would want to do that? I have no idea. I'm really glad I came here.
Drugs are really bad for you. They have many yucky chemicals in them. Don't take them because you'll find yourself in a situation where you can't stop.
I am a police officer, and subsequently deal with drug abus on a daily basis. I am finding that the age of drug abusers and addicts is rapidly becoming younger and younger. This was awesome exhibit and hopefully it will help stem the tide of drug abuse.
I want to thank the DEA for the exhibit. I was one of the ones that was on the wrong side of the law for a long time. I just never realized what the drugs were doing to me. Because of the drugs and that lifestyle I was arrested and did time.

I am an employee here; drugs destroyed the people around, many cousins and friends down in college. I miss them deeply; I dedicated this exhibit to family and friends I lost over the years to drugs. People my age and younger should know the side effects.

This exibit was fantasmagorical it; was truly a fascinating educational experience. It made an impact on my view of the nation and the world. I would much recommend this splendid exibit to young teenagers who are facing troubles with peers.

The exhibit was amazing! As a teacher for the deaf I am concerned about the drug abuse that takes place in the deaf community. It's a huge problem! The community lacks resources and information.

I am a Police Officer in Liverpool, England. The city has a huge drug problem but I have to say, this exhibit has opened my eyes. Excellent. A great deterent for young people.
